The King Is Coming

Scripture: Revelation 11:

15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:
"The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,
and he will reign for ever and ever."

Ezekiel 29,30,31,32; Revelation 11 – Passage Lookup – Today’s New International Version – BibleGateway.com

Observation:  His will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Application: The foundation of our faith lies in our scripture for the day.  Jesus Christ, the Messiah, God’s begotten, our savior who came before as the lamb of God to sacrifice Himself on the cross as payment for the penalty of Our sins will return and reveal Himself as King of the Whole World.  I say reveal rather than become, because Christ is already King of the whole of creation; we simply await the return of our King and long for the re-establishing of His kingdom on earth.

Christ told Pilate, "my kingdom is not of this earth" but the time is coming when He will bring the heavenly kingdom to the earth and the rulers of planet earth will bow down with every knee and and proclaim with every mouth that Jesus is Lord.

Christ has died, Christ has risen, Christ will come again!

Prayer:  God and King,

Thank you for the sure promise that you will come again and that your kingdom in heaven will come down to the earth and we shall see the power of God revealed before our eyes. I thank you that all believers will witness your glory and share in your victory.  Forgive me when I fail to remember that even though the world seems bent on destruction, you O God have a higher purpose planned.  Though there may be difficult times ahead for humanity, You will glory in the life and peace and love that your kingdom is made of.

I praise You Father – Son – and Spirit

Love Michael
